Hydraulic modeling of water systems in 5 urban centers in Togo
The overall objective of the mission was to provide to the SP-EAU and TdE an hydraulic simulation tool for drinking water systems to allow a standardized and efficient planning and management of their networks.
The mission of the Consultant was conducted in three main phases:
A data collection phase followed by their treatment and field studies complements necessary to the hydraulic modeling of water systems in the 5 centers;
A phase of establishment and provision of the 5 hydraulics models (EPANET) based on data over existing networks and taking account of their failure;
Last phase of information on the usefulness and use of these models to the SPEAU / TdE headquarters and five regional offices of the TdE (15-20 people) and secondly of training on the operationalization, monitoring and development of the hydraulics models.
